Job requirements
What will you do?
As Head Concierge, you are the ‘face of the organisation’ and, together with your colleagues, ensure a safe school environment.
You are the driving force behind the concierge team, managing your five colleagues on a daily basis, whilst also being their direct colleague. You will patrol in the mornings upon the arrival of the students and during their breaks, both inside and around the school.
Additionally, you will consult with the team leaders, administration, and other support services to ensure the school runs as smoothly as possible. You will also liaise with the external caterer, be involved in the procurement of inventory, maintenance, repairs, and learning resources, and carry out administrative tasks such as preparing requests for quotations. Furthermore, the Head Concierge is our Head of Emergency Response, providing assistance in emergencies, first aid, BHV (emergency response), and acts as the anti-bullying coordinator.
You are able to create a pleasant and enjoyable atmosphere through your verbal and non-verbal communication, and you dare to address students about their behaviour.

Our Head Concierge
- must possess a completed MBO 4 level qualification and/or relevant work experience;
- preferably has management experience in a similar role;
- has a service-oriented attitude;
- has affinity, insight and experience with the target group of pupils aged 12 to 18 inclusive;
- is skilled in responding pedagogically and responsibly to conflict situations with students;
- Possesses good interpersonal and organisational skills.;
- Willing to participate in courses, training, and education.;
- is also willing to work in the evenings, for example, for parents' evenings;
- is in possession of a BHV certificate and possibly first aid;
- has knowledge of building and installation safety regulations;
- has a good command of the Dutch language.
