Marketing & Communications Intern Wanted!

The function
Are you studying a higher professional education (HBO) course in the field of communication/creative business and are you looking for a fun, challenging, creative internship where you can gain practical experience? We are looking for an intern for the Marketing & Communication department. During your internship, you will contribute to campaigns, content, strategy, and other communication efforts. You will unleash your creativity to create content for our social media channels, among others.  

What are you going to do 

• You are responsible for the social media channels.; 

• you devise and produce content (photo/film/text);

• You'll help think about campaigns;

• You assist with various ongoing communication tasks for the department.

About the team
The Marketing & Communications team consists of around 20 dedicated colleagues who make every day a party. Our goal is to put Talland College on the map in the region and to best guide prospective students (both young and adult learners) in choosing the right course. We handle internal and external communications, PR, events, labour market communications, online campaigns, and corporate social media channels. We provide advice on these matters to the management, team leaders, and colleagues from education and support services.

Job requirements

Your profile

• You are following a relevant higher professional education course.;

• You are independent, hardworking, sociable, eager to learn and motivated;

• You have an affinity with our target group (15-25 year olds);

• You speak and write fluent Dutch;

• You have a good command of the Microsoft Office suite. It is an advantage if you are proficient with Adobe InDesign and Photoshop or other image editing programs.

Our offer

• A challenging and educational internship in a fun team;  

• a 5-6 month traineeship; 

• Your base is Alkmaar, but you are also regularly present at the other locations;  

• Start date of internship: late Aug/early Sept 2026; 

• a gross internship allowance of €300 with a full-time internship.
