Tomorrow's teacher is trained today, together, in practice. Within the Hollands Noorden Training School, schools, school boards and teacher training colleges work together on a strong regional partnership. Theory, practice and guidance come together here, so that every student teacher can develop in a professional learning environment and contribute to educational practice with confidence.

You can sign up for an information session or a personal interview with our intake broker. Together, we will explore what suits you, based on your experience, interests and level of education.
Should I already have a qualification to get started?
No, it is not always necessary. Several routes are possible, such as orientation jobs, lateral entry routes and training places. Which route fits depends on your background and the needs in the region.
Can I join a school to experience what it is like?
Yes, through the Education Desk you can request a taster day at a school in the region. This will give you a realistic idea of the work and atmosphere.
Will I be coached in anything when I make the switch?
Yes, guidance is an important part of the transition. During orientation or intake processes, you will receive support from experienced teachers, school trainers and/or a guidance coach.
Where can I find current vacancies?
Vacancies in the region are collected through our job board on MeesterBaan. There, you will find an overview of positions in secondary education and mbo within Education Region Hollands Noorden.
