Type of vacancy: starting with a one-year contract and the prospect of a one-year extension and sick leave replacement
With effect from: ASAP
Responding for: 17 September 2026
Do you have an affinity for Entry-level students and do you get energy from helping young people grow? Do you enjoy stepping into a different learning company every day, from a workshop to a shop and from a care institution to an office?
Are you communicative, connecting, reliable and flexible? Can you easily switch between student, school and work placement company? And do you have a sense of humour that passes muster even by teenager standards? Then we would love to meet you.
The function
As a work placement supervisor, you guide our students and the workplace supervisors at the training company. You conduct progress reviews in the workplace, carry out assessments, think along about the student's progress and development during the work placement period, and record the students' progress. You are the primary contact person for workplace supervisors and maintain close contact with study career coaches. In addition, you support the student in finding a placement or job and, together with the mentor, give work placement briefings in the classroom. To stay informed about what is happening within the Entry sector, you attend team meetings. You identify opportunities and are committed to contributing to the collaboration between education and training companies. You contribute to broadening our networks and to sustainable collaboration. The Entry sector is always on the move; no day is the same. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is flexible and can be deployed across the wider region.
About the team
The Entry training course is offered at the Alkmaar, Hoorn, Heerhugowaard, Purmerend and Zaandam locations. Your activities will take place from one of these locations. In this role you will work together with the external orientation director, fellow work placement (BPV) supervisors and the teaching team. And not entirely unimportantly, the teams are very enthusiastic and passionate, so you will find yourself in a pleasant working environment.
Job requirements
Your profile
You have a hands-on mentality, a healthy dose of humour and enough perseverance to get and keep students on the right track during their placement or work. Sometimes that is a straight route, other times more of a route with a few unexpected turns. You remain calm, committed and solution-oriented.
You are empathetic, connect with others easily, and draw energy from interacting with a diverse range of people. You have a strong network in the region and know how to find suitable work placement and job opportunities together with the student. You see possibilities where others might only hear “no vacancies available”.
You are resilient to stress, able to work well independently and know how to set the right priorities. Planning and organising come naturally to you. In addition, you are willing to go the extra mile and develop yourself further within the full breadth of the role.
Experience with young people between the ages of 16 and 25 is definitely an advantage. You know that no two students are the same and that a good conversation sometimes has more effect than ten pieces of standard advice.
What do you bring?
You have demonstrable senior secondary vocational (MBO 4) working and thinking level.;
you are a strong communicator and networker;
you have excellent digital skills and are familiar with Microsoft Office;
you hold a driving licence and have access to a car.
You can already read it: we are asking quite a bit of you. But there is something in return too. You get a varied role in which you can make a visible difference for students, work alongside committed colleagues and deal with people, opportunities and stories anew every day.

The field of work and your profession are constantly changing. We stand and go for lifelong learning. For your professional and personal development, we have our own Talland Academy and the online platform Good Habitz.
