Part-time weekend assistant 0.1 FTE
Note: Your fixed appointment scope is 0.1 FTE (4 hours per week). In practice, it may occur that you work a bit more. Extra hours worked at weekends and during holidays will be paid on an expense-claim basis.
What will you do?
At the campus, there is a wide range of animals used for educating our pupils. From goats and sheep, and from guinea pigs to fish and reptiles. These animals also need care during the times when our school is closed (weekends and holidays). In consultation with the animal care teacher(s), the work schedule is drawn up and you will discuss the welfare of the animals.
We are looking for someone to ensure our animals have enough to eat and that their enclosures are clean and fresh. You will be part of an enthusiastic team of weekend assistants. True go-getters who roll up their sleeves together and ensure everything runs smoothly.

For this vacancy, you are specifically available to work weekends and school holidays. Demonstrable experience in animal care is a distinct advantage.

The position is graded at scale 2 of the MBO collective labour agreement, which ranges from a minimum of €2,466 to a maximum of €2,891 gross per month for a full-time employment contract. Placement is dependent on your profile and experience.
