Our growing Waldorf school is located in Haarlem and has a beautiful new building of which we are proud. Here we offer modern Waldorf education to about 1100 pupils at Mavo-Havo-VWO level.
Like any other school, a Waldorf school prepares students optimally for the final exams. However, the path towards it is different. At a Waldorf school, the development of the individual within his social context is central.
We believe it is important for children to develop socially in addition to graduating. We also pay a lot of attention to subject development: becoming who you are. This is also why we adapt our working method to the pupil. In this way, we create a climate that does full justice to personal development. In other words, we stimulate young people to bring out their best not only intellectually, but also creatively and socially. In addition to cognitive subjects, we also offer many arts and crafts subjects.
Our teaching is divided into periods and subject lessons. For more information, visit our website: The Haarlem Waldorf School for vwo, havo and mavo - Rudolf Steiner College
