What will you do?
- To supervise our pupils during school hours within the school building and on the playground.
- Dealing with disruptive behaviour from pupils and guiding pupils through this pedagogically.
- Guiding pupils through real-life tasks within the building, such as the logistics of goods.
- Ensure the accessibility and functional use of the building.
- Carrying out minor technical repairs and maintenance work.
- Providing support services, such as welcoming visitors, keeping track of absences and carrying out reception duties.
The vmbo (pre-vocational secondary education) location d’Ampte is part of the Tabor College and offers all learning pathways and profiles. Our motto is: the best education for every pupil.

What do we expect from you?
- You have a strong personality and are good at working with pupils aged 12 to 18 from a variety of cultural backgrounds.
- Preferably, you have a first aid and/or emergency response certificate (or are willing to obtain one) and a driving licence.
- You are available for work daily between 07:45 and 17:00 and also enjoy working evenings on a rotational basis.
- You are communicative, flexible and sociable, and have a strong service-oriented attitude.
- You are proactive, take responsibility and enjoy seeing things through. You’re good with your hands and enjoy carrying out minor maintenance tasks.
- You have basic knowledge and are proficient with the most commonly used computer programs.
- You preferably live in the vicinity of Hoorn.
- Salary: Remuneration in accordance with the collective labour agreement for secondary education (VO). Scales in OOP level 5 (minimum €2,551 – maximum €3,412 gross per month for a full-time contract). From 1 November 2026, you will also benefit from a collective agreement pay rise of 1.2%. Your exact salary will depend on your current experience and pay band.
- Extras: An end-of-year bonus (8,33%), holiday allowance (8%), a fixed annual payment of €1,640 (pro rata) in October, a generous individual flexi-budget (90 hours for full-time employees) and an excellent ABP pension scheme.
- Balance All school holidays off! This gives you plenty of time to fully recharge (you'll enjoy 4 weeks of summer holiday instead of the regular 6 weeks).

It is very important to us that our pupils enjoy going to school. What they want to become later is not so important yet. At d'Ampte, we therefore prepare pupils well for vocational training that suits their level. That is why they also learn outside the classroom, with guest lessons, internships and practical assignments.

ABOUT OUR EDUCATION
d'Ampte is a school for vmbo education. For lower secondary pupils, d'Ampte offers mavo, techmavo, 3 vocational colleges and the broad route. The upper school has a large number of career-preparatory graduation profiles with 40 different electives. d'Ampte is strong in social skills lessons, technology and the positive approach.
