Are you a technical specialist in vehicle engineering with an affinity for education? Do you find it challenging to inspire and motivate our students to develop into true professionals? Do you enjoy teaching them the latest developments in your field? Are you available during the day, and also for one evening per week (to be agreed)? Then we are looking for you!
The function
As a mobility engineering instructor, you will provide practical lessons in the workshop, electrical practical lessons and elective modules to students studying to become technical specialists and basic and all-round automotive technicians. You will guide students in the progress of their training and in the development of professional conduct at school.
About the team
The team you will be joining is hands-on, to the point, committed to quality, and above all, a pleasant team to work in. The Mobility Technology team consists of approximately 35 people, spread across the Zaandam and Heerhugowaard locations. Our ambition is to offer students high-quality and challenging courses that respond to current and future developments in the field. We offer both full-time (BOL) and work-study (BBL) courses at levels 2, 3, and 4.

You are passionate about education and know how to create a safe environment in which you creatively deliver education to students in various ways. You can handle the diversity of our student population well (from young to slightly older, with varying levels of support needs). You are a team player and understand what professional practice expects from our students. You make a positive contribution to our educational development. You can maintain the good contacts we have with the business community. Furthermore, a bit of humour and lightheartedness are a welcome bonus.

We are offering you a position as an instructor; you will initially be given a one-year contract with a view to a permanent appointment.;
When you do not yet have a qualification as an instructor, we offer you the opportunity to obtain this in the future. This concerns salary scale 7 (€2,650 to a maximum of €3,920 for a full-time appointment). Grading is also done based on knowledge, experience, and education.;
