You are skilled at uncovering the talents, (study) skills, and potential of every student. For teachers within the education teams, you are a solid sparring partner and coach. You possess empathy, connect easily, and are socially engaged. Naturally, you contribute to our team's shared goals. If you can also adapt quickly and work in a results-oriented manner, we would be delighted to speak with you!

The function
The guidance advisor acts as an advisor and sparring partner for the teaching team, thereby strengthening the teaching team. A collaborative relationship is built with the teaching team, and there is shared responsibility. As a guidance advisor, you will be assigned to one or more teaching teams. As a guidance advisor, you also provide guidance directly to students with complex support needs.
We are looking for a colleague at our Alkmaar and/or Heerhugowaard location (to be determined). The primary task of the colleague we are seeking will be to support students with complex support needs and translate this into what it means for the student's educational process. We are looking for a colleague who will be the point of contact within the Advice & Support Team for complex cases, both internally and externally. We are seeking a colleague who is confident and has an affinity with a vulnerable target group (Entry-level education).

About the team
The Guidance Advisor is part of the Advice & Guidance Team (TAB). Within Talland College, TAB supports (prospective) students and (feeder) education in the areas of study career advice, appropriate education, and pedagogical and didactic educational needs. TAB is an integral team and is present at each of the 5 locations of Talland College (Zaandam, Alkmaar, Purmerend, Hoorn, and Heerhugowaard). At the Heerhugowaard, Zaandam, Alkmaar and Hoorn locations, approximately 15 internal and external colleagues work per location. A smaller team is active in Purmerend.
