We are looking for an enthusiastic English teacher (second-cycle qualification) for 0.8-1.0 FTE, starting from 1 August 2026. You will be deployable in the lower years of MAVO, HAVO and VWO, and the upper years of MAVO. You will be part of both a subject department and a year-group team. Depending on your experience, you may be asked to take on the role of a form tutor for a class.

Job requirements
You have a passion for education, a strong commitment to the age group, and of course possess a relevant teaching qualification. You endorse the ongoing educational innovation in the area of active teaching methods and more differentiation within lessons, and wish to make an active contribution to this. You also have an affinity for IT and digital teaching materials.
We assume that you enjoy working collaboratively and wish to develop your own skills in consultation with your department head, subject team, and coach.
Employment conditions
What we offer
A temporary employment contract with a view to a permanent position. The salary is in accordance with the Collective Labour Agreement for Secondary Education.
In addition to salary, the Collective Labour Agreement for Secondary Education (CAO VO) includes the following secondary employment conditions:
– holiday pay 8%;
– year-end bonus 8.3%;
– individual choice budget of 90 hours (on a full-time basis);
– ABP Pension;
– inability to work insurance (50% paid by the employer).
