Are you the Dutch teacher capable of inspiring MBO students? Then we're looking for you for the new academic year!

The function
You provide Dutch lessons to students in the Engineering sector, across various programmes, levels, and academic years. You use engaging examples from the students' vocational practice. You support subject teachers and mentors in the language development of their students. In addition, you develop lessons and educational programmes for the Dutch subject together with your colleagues.

You will be working in an experienced and professional team of motivated teachers. This close-knit team, with a passion for MBO students, is always looking for new teaching ideas and ways to motivate students. Pulling together is a motto that would suit us well.

Job requirements

Your profile
You have at least a second-grade teaching qualification for Dutch language, or you are currently following a teacher training course. A completed primary school teacher training (Pabo) qualification, with a willingness to undertake further training, is also negotiable.
You are aware of recent developments within the Dutch language subject in vocational education and you know how the Dutch language subject can be linked to vocational tasks. You are familiar with the use of ICT in education.
You are a team player, think in terms of possibilities and see opportunities for improvement and innovation. Flexibility and a good sense of humour can be very useful. Experience with and affinity for young adults, while maintaining a coaching attitude towards them, would be an advantage.

  • We are offering you a position for 0.8 / 1 FTE as a lecturer; you will initially receive a one-year contract with a view to a permanent appointment.;

  • For qualified teachers, we offer the opportunity to be appointed as Core Teacher on salary scale LC (max. €6,210 at a full-time appointment). If you do not have a teaching qualification for secondary vocational education (mbo), you will be classified as a teacher in scale LB (max. €5,495 at a full-time appointment). Classification is also based on knowledge, experience, and education.;

  • holiday allowance of 8% and a year-end bonus of 8.33%;
