Teaching at rsg Wiringherlant: that means teaching at a small-scale and comprehensive school that is full of momentum. A regional school where global citizenship takes centre stage: here, as a teacher, you bring out the best in yourself and your pupils. Alongside this, you can count on our modern and attractive learning environment. And whether you are coming from the direction of Amsterdam or from Friesland: you will be there in no time.

Your duties

At Wiringherlant, you'll have plenty of opportunities to devote yourself to lessons and extras for your pupils. As a teacher, you'll do that both inside and outside school. Because besides thinking along about how we shape world citizenship within our curriculum, you will also seek cooperation with the business world. At Wiringherlant, you offer students the opportunity to put their new knowledge into practice. In short: a job in which connection is key.

Your duties will include:

  • teaching Dutch lessons to HAVO year 4 and 5 and Atheneum year 2;
  • contribute to pupils' personal development;
  • strengthening the continuous learning line together with colleagues from the subject section;
  • picking up school-wide themes, in which you not only contribute to the development of our students, you also challenge yourself as a teacher.

Job requirements

We are looking for a fully qualified teacher. If you are a trainee teacher, we would also be pleased to receive your application. We also consider it important that you:

- be an addition to the energetic working atmosphere that characterises our school;
- can contribute to your own field and school-wide development;
- know how to use your connecting skills to provide the best education for our students.

Employment conditions

This concerns a position as an LB teacher (maximum €5,520 for a full-time employment contract) starting on 14 September 2026, with a scope of 0.48 FTE.

This is a temporary replacement, at the latest until the end of the school year.

In addition, we offer:

  • salaries and terms of employment in accordance with the CAO VO collective agreement, including holiday pay and a year-end bonus of 8.33%, an attractive commuting allowance (kilometres exceeding 25 km one way are now also reimbursed after the first year) and car exchange schemes;
  • Personal budget of 90 hours for full-time employment;
  • generous lesson storage. At SOVON, we think this is a prerequisite for doing your job well;
  • nine schools in one foundation, which means there are extra opportunities for you to grow;
  • collective insurance in case of partial disability;
  • a pension scheme with pension fund ABP.
