We are looking for a qualified Dutch teacher who is keen to prepare our students well for working in childcare or as a teaching assistant. Dutch is an important subject for childcare professionals, and all students must meet an additional language requirement. It is a distinct advantage if you have an affinity for the childcare or teaching assistant working field.
The function
As a teacher, you work with the team on the development and innovation of education. Your role is to provide language education (preparation, execution, assessment, and evaluation) tailored to the learning needs of the students.
You will teach our students on the (Specialised) Childcare Worker and Teaching Assistant courses. We are looking for versatile teachers who can teach both full-time (BOL) and part-time apprenticeship (BBL) students, either at our location or in-company at a nursery. Furthermore, you will advise the team on how they can integrate language teaching into projects and vocational subjects, thereby improving students' language proficiency. You will also collaborate with other colleagues in the Dutch department to make general education subjects more flexible and offer greater customisation.
About the team
The Pedagogical Work team provides training for future childcare workers and school teaching assistants. Our ambition is to offer a high-quality and challenging education that responds to current and future developments in the field. The team consists of 50 employees for approximately 500 students in the full-time vocational training (BOL) levels 3 and 4. This is supplemented by 100 students in the combined work and study (BBL) variant.

Your profile
You are authorised to teach Dutch in vocational education.;
you are focused on cooperation in a results-oriented team;
You possess good coaching and communication skills.;
You are capable of seeing and influencing group dynamics within your group;
You are strong in maintaining contacts within your field and in establishing professional relationships with your students.;
You have good written and oral communication skills.;
You are a team player with a healthy dose of humour and the ability to keep things in perspective.

An appointment for a period of one year, with a view to extension;
For qualified teachers, we offer the opportunity to be appointed to the Core Teacher position in salary scale LC (from €4,226 to a maximum of €6,210 based on a full-time appointment). If you do not have a teaching qualification for secondary vocational education (MBO), you will be appointed as a teacher in scale LB (€3,713 to a maximum of €5,495 gross for a full-time appointment). Salary placement is also based on knowledge, experience, and education.;
