What will you do?
As a teacher, you will passionately transfer your professional knowledge to secondary school students aged 12 to 16. You make the teaching material lively and relevant, and know how to captivate pupils with creative work forms. You are not only a teacher, but also a mentor who actively
focuses on the personal development of your pupils. Whether it involves guidance, parent contact or creating a safe learning environment: you ensure that every pupil gets the most out of themselves!

• Are you a qualified teacher with an affinity for ICT and social media?
- strong pedagogical and teaching skills;
- Creative and enthusiastic in developing the curriculum;
- Proficient in using ICT tools and social media in the classroom;
- good command of the Dutch language both verbally and in writing.

Your salary will be scaled according to scale LB of the CAO mbo, with a gross monthly salary between €3,713 and €5,495 for full-time employment, depending on your experience.
Working at the Alkmaar branch
Welcome to our largest branch, where over 500 pupils and almost 900 students learn and grow together. Despite our size, the school feels small and personal: we know each other here and there is room for individual attention. In our modern building, over 200 colleagues from pre-vocational secondary education (VMBO) and vocational education (MBO) work together under one roof, creating a dynamic and inspiring learning environment.
What makes our location extra special? The practical facilities! We have a professional teaching kitchen where students learn the art of cooking, a well-equipped stable full of horses for practical animal care lessons, and a spacious, green garden where theory and practice come together.
