What will you do?
You convey your passion for Dutch, Maths (and citizenship) to mbo students every day. You know what's happening in your field and, like no other, you get students enthusiastically engaged with the subject matter in a creative way. You act as a coach for your students, both in terms of subject matter and their personal development. You do this together with colleagues from support and (internship) guidance. A safe and stimulating learning environment is central to you, and you motivate students to get the most out of themselves!

In summary, you bring:• You have relevant prior education (at Bachelor's degree level) *and* are qualified to teach in vocational education (MBO), *or* you are willing to obtain a teaching qualification.;
• you know what is expected of future employees and entrepreneurs in the sector;
• You have good pedagogical and didactic skills;
• you have knowledge of and experience in the sector and can draw on your own practical examples;
• you have experience teaching in vocational education or demonstrable affinity with the target audience;
• you are familiar with various teaching methods, the use of ICT tools and social media in the classroom;
• you are entrepreneurial and flexible, and you are good at motivating students;
• you are willing to also provide citizenship and generic elective modules;
• you are willing to work occasionally at the Alkmaar and Schagen locations.

Your salary will be scaled according to scale LB of the CAO mbo, with a gross monthly salary between €3,713 and €5,495 for full-time employment, depending on your experience.
