The Dalí College is a broad educational organisation within the Midden Kennemerland secondary education partnership. We offer education to MAVO (pre-vocational secondary education) and HAVO (senior general secondary education) pupils and focus strongly on inclusive education.
Within our school, the support team assists pupils with their learning process and with social, societal, psychological, and educational support needs.
The curriculum provision is an internal provision for pupils with specific support/guidance needs that go beyond basic school support.
The core team, led by the support coordinator, decides which pupils are eligible for support.
The trajectory provisioning focuses on:
- Providing tailored support to pupils;
- Supporting and advising lecturers.;
- Liaising with parents and external partners.
Work
- Contributes to guiding students with social, psychological, and educational support needs.;
- Draws up support plans with achievable goals and appropriate guidance activities.;
- Supports individual pupils or groups of pupils based on the support plan.;
- Assesses supervision and identifies additional support needs;
- Makes suggestions for amending the support plan;
- Conducts counselling sessions with pupils and parents/carers, coaches and, if necessary, external support services.;
- Where applicable, provides shelter within the trajectory service and supports with planning and organisation.
- Advises teachers and coaches on methods and techniques to use, appropriate to the student's support needs.;
- Supports teachers and coaches in applying these approaches;
- Think along with practical questions in the classroom.
- Participates in multidisciplinary consultations (such as core team/MDO);
- Contributes from their own expertise to plans and interventions;
- Scrutinised with parents/carers, pupil, coach and external partners;
- Informs pupils and parents about the support options within school.
- Ensuring reporting in Magister and student files;
- Contributing to intake and placement within the trajectory provision;
- Providing support in the implementation of policy at an operational level.;
- Drafting (advisory) notes and providing input for the further development of support within schools.;
- Liaising with stakeholders within and outside the school.

- Completed higher professional education (HBO) qualification;
- Affinity with pupils with special educational needs;
- Knowledge of behavioural issues and appropriate education;
- Affinity with the target audience (11-18 years old).
- Knowledge of and insight into the care structure and social map;
- Skill in guiding, motivating, and encouraging pupils.;
- Skill in advising teachers and coaches;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.;
- Skill in drawing up plans and notes;
- Able to work in a structured and action-oriented manner.

Employment conditions
What we offer- Salary in scale 9 CAO VO (€3,326 – €5,025 full-time);

As a teacher at our school, you perform various roles. Besides teaching as a subject teacher, you are also involved in guiding pupils as a coach. At least once every fortnight, you conduct a 15-minute coaching discussion with the student. In addition, you are a didactic coach and work with both summative and formative tests.
