As a technical teaching assistant (TA), you are the driving force behind our practical lessons. You ensure that microscopes are set up, experiments run smoothly and students get to work with enthusiasm. Our ideal candidate can, in addition to biology, potentially also be deployed for chemistry and/or physics.

What will you do?
- Enriching lessons: You support biology teachers with both the preparation and execution of practical lessons.
- Proactive thinking: You thoroughly enjoy developing and innovating new practicals to make education even more engaging.
- Management & organisation: You are responsible for the management, safety and maintenance of the practical rooms, equipment and supplies.
- Hands-on guidance: You are present in the classroom to assist pupils during practicals (primarily biology, and preferably stepping in occasionally for chemistry and/or physics).

- Salary: In accordance with the secondary education (VO) collective labour agreement (CAO), pay scale 6 (€ 2,672 to € 3,610 for a full-time appointment)). From 1 November 2026, you will immediately benefit from a pay rise of 1.2%. Your exact salary will be determined based on your experience and pay scale.
- Extras: An end-of-year bonus (8,33%), holiday pay (8%), a fixed annual allowance of €1,640 (pro rata), a generous flexible working time allowance (90 hours for full-time employees) and an excellent ABP pension scheme.
