What will you do?
As an Art and Design teacher, you teach students from VMBO/Mavo and the lower years of HAVO/VWO. You make your lessons active, challenging, and accessible for different levels.
You are among those who are in possession of:
• Providing inspiring Arts and Crafts lessons
• Encouraging creativity and investigative work
• Working with diverse techniques, materials and visual processes
• Differentiate and respond to differences in levels within the classroom
• Guiding pupils in their learning process and study skills
• Collaborate with colleagues within the section and team
• Contributing ideas to the further development of art education
Who are you?
You are an enthusiastic teacher who knows how to motivate students and create a safe, pleasant learning environment. You love to collaborate and get energy from working in a school where you can truly make a difference.
Additionally:
• Do you have a second-degree qualification in Fine Arts Education, or will you be completing this soon?
• Do you have an affinity with both VMBO/Mavo as well as HAVO/VWO?
Are you strong in teaching and can you respond well to differences between pupils?
Are you involved, clear, and positive in your communication?
• Do you enjoy working in a small and committed team?

Who we are
OSG De Hogeberg is a public comprehensive school of secondary education, offering a broad range of education for vmbo (basic & framework), mavo, havo and vwo. The school is the only school for secondary education on the island of Texel. Our school has a public character, which means that we want to be accessible to as many pupils on the island as possible and to participate transparently and actively in Texel society. Equality, freedom and encounter are core values we stand for in public education. These values provide direction when making choices about education, collaborations and dealing with each other.
