Do you have a passion for teaching? Are you able to translate the needs of our external partners into the training offer and are you strong in building relationships with the various companies and institutions? Then we are looking for you!

Business training courses LLO
At Talland, we offer tailor-made training programs for organizations. Whether it’s training sessions, courses, certificates, practical explanations, or full-fledged programs, we develop learning paths that align with the needs in the market. We know the region and understand what’s going on there. Together with companies, we work on (customized) solutions in the region to train skilled professionals. We are flexible and continuously adapt to social and technological developments. Currently, we have a wide range of upskilling and reskilling programs, and we want to continue developing and expanding this offering.
The Business Training team guides these customized training programs for organizations and supports the teaching teams in their implementation. We are looking for account managers who can initiate the training programs together with the teaching teams.

The function
As an account manager, you are responsible for successfully acquiring contracts for training programs in various sectors. Particularly in the technology, healthcare, and ICT sectors, we see many opportunities to develop training programs and development paths together with the business community. There are also upskilling and reskilling issues in other sectors and the public sector.
You investigate what training questions exist among our partners and translate them into a training offer. You do this in close collaboration with the colleagues within your team, but also with the employees and managers of the education sector. You are responsible for the entire quote process. You prepare, among other things, quotes and calculations, process them, and ensure that they are submitted to the financial administration (FA).
You have a broad perspective on education and the opportunities that arise within it. You actively seek out (collaborative) partners, keep up to date with current developments, and translate these into new leads, prospects, and opportunities.

The focus in this role is on network building and stakeholdermanagement;

  • building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders in the field of work, such as companies, industry organizations, and professionals;

  • act as the link between the working field and the educational institution;

  • analysing the current and future needs of the labor market to ensure that training programs are relevant and effective.

Job requirements

Your profile
Basically, we are looking for an enterprising, positive, curious, creative, and collaborative colleague who wants to join our fun and proactive team. Additionally, it would be a plus if you identify with the following characteristics:

  • You have experience as an acquirer/account manager in the (vocational) education sector;

  • You know how the vocational education system is structured and you are familiar with new forms of vocational education in the vocational education system: development paths, certificates, practical explanations, microdential, etc.;

  • You have experience in the fields of technology, healthcare and/or ICT;

  • You have knowledge of and experience with public sector organizations, such as municipalities and the UWV;

  • You are a BPV or educational innovation teacher and/or director working in the VET sector who would like to explore the field and develop their skills as an account manager and relationship manager;

  • You are well known in the region and the social playing field, or you are able to quickly establish yourself in this;

  • You are a true relationship builder and connector and know how to initiate and maintain existing and new relationships.

Our offer
The work field and your profession are constantly evolving. We are committed to lifelong learning. For your professional and personal development, we have our own Talland Academy and the online platform Good Habitz. In addition, we offer you the following:

During the duration of the LLO program, a temporary function allowance in step 11 is granted (€ 4,396 to a maximum of € 6,459 gross). The temporary allowance recognizes the additional workload during the LLO program. At the end of the program, we will review the development of the position, responsibilities, and appropriate remuneration accordingly.
