To understand staffing trends within our education region, the Education Region team has developed a Strategic Staff Planning (SPP) model. Through a comprehensive dataset, school boards can support their policies and decisions with data and conduct further research where necessary. Over the past year and a half, it has become clear how data-adult school boards are and where there is still room for improvement.
The tool not only provides valuable insights at the regional level, but can also be used as part of the strategic HRM of individual school boards. This would require a more detailed presentation of the data. Due to the AVG legislation, this cannot be facilitated through the regional tool. Therefore, SPP is also implemented at board level: each school board gets its own version of the tool, which runs entirely within its own ICT environment and contains only the data of its own staff. This data is then brought together AVG-proof at regional level, so that both individual boards and the region as a whole have reliable and usable information.
