Your duties

As scheduler, you are a vital linchpin of our school. With your brainpower, colleagues work based on a good timetable and pupils follow lessons in a pleasant manner.

Your duties will include:

  • creation of a (period) timetable;
  • processing changes or issues in the daily schedule;
  • setting up plans and timetables for specific educational activities or other activities in the school;
  • retrieving the correct data for creating schedules or identifying notable issues;
  • Participating in the annual planning and providing advice to school management;
  • working with Zermelo.

During the initial period, you will be thoroughly trained so that you can take over completely independently afterwards.

Job requirements

We are looking for a new scheduler with:

– affinity with our target audience;
– proficiency in handling complex scheduling issues and experience with Zermelo and Excel;
– Strong communication skills;
– to drive daily switching for an optimal schedule for colleagues and students;
– flexibility in action when the schedule calls for a solution;
Enthusiasm to go to work with pleasure every day.

Employment conditions

This concerns a position as a timetabler, max. scale 8 (max. € 4,449 for a full-time employment contract) effective from 1 November 2026 with a scope of 0.8 FTE (spread over 5 school days). This involves an appointment until the end of the school year with the prospect of a permanent employment contract upon proven suitability and sufficient staffing capacity.

  • salaries and terms of employment in accordance with the CAO VO collective agreement, including holiday pay and a year-end bonus of 8.33%, an attractive commuting allowance (kilometres exceeding 25 km one way are now also reimbursed after the first year) and car exchange schemes;
  • Personal budget of 90 hours for full-time employment;
  • nine schools in one foundation, which means there are extra opportunities for you to grow;
  • collective insurance in case of partial disability;
  • a pension scheme with pension fund ABP.
