What will you do?
As a Dutch language teacher, you teach pupils of all levels and grades at our school. You combine subject-related knowledge with a coaching role and guide pupils in their language development and personal growth. Your days are varied: from teaching to guiding pupils in discovering their talents. Some pupils need more support, and you know how to make a difference.
You will work closely within the Dutch learning area and actively contribute to the development of the subject within the school. Together with colleagues, you contribute to a safe and stimulating learning environment.

SG De Dijk is a public school within Atlas College and offers education for EOA, vmbo-basis, -kader, mavo, havo and vwo. We are a small-scale school with about 400 pupils and 60 staff members. About Atlas College | SG De Dijk

As a broad-based school, SG De Dijk is a well-known and trusted learning and meeting place in Medemblik and the surrounding area for children and young people aged 8 to 18. Between 8 am and 8 pm, De Dijk offers a wide range of activities in the fields of knowledge, sports and culture. Within school hours, regular education is offered. This is supplemented by a wide range of activities before and after school, which are an extension of the education provided.
In the lower grades, SG De Dijk offers education at the vwo, havo, mavo and vmbo levels. This makes De Dijk accessible to pupils of all entry levels. Following the junior year, pupils can prepare for the mavo exam in Medemblik, where they can choose the subject Application & Technology, the vmbo profile exam in Economics & Business or move on to another secondary school, such as the Copernicus SG in Hoorn. Within the education offered at SG De Dijk, pupils can choose to study Arts & Culture, Exercise & Sport, Engineering, Technology & ICT, International and Economics & Business.
