What will you do?
As a first-year teacher, you will become part of our enthusiastic team of upper secondary pupils. About Tabor College Oscar Romero

Our motto is 'Learn in good spirit!". At Oscar Romero, you feel the unique Oscar atmosphere. At our school, you immediately feel at home in your own team. The building is modern but cosy. With us, students get the chance to grow. That starts by choosing the mavo, mavo/havo, havo, havo/vwo or vwo bridge class. There they lay the foundations for the rest of their schooling. Our bridging period lasts two years.

Since school year 2025-2026, we have been an aspiring Dalton school. This means that with us, pupils not only learn from books, but also develop important skills for later. All pupils have a Dalton planner and receive 8 Dalton hours per week, in which they are in charge of their own agenda. Do they need some extra help with a particular subject or will they work on their homework in the quiet room? This is how they learn to organise their time, make choices and work together with their classmates on great projects.

Besides the regular lessons, pupils can choose the Sports, Art or Technology line. They then get an extra two hours a week of lessons to study a subject they really like, together with peers with the same interests. In these extra lessons, they do all kinds of fun things. The Sports line goes to the Weissensee for a week, the Art line to Oerol and the Technology line builds on technical projects to eventually compete in competitions.

It is important to us that our pupils feel good at school. That is why there is always extra guidance if they need it, such as in our PlusPunt. But pupils should also feel good physically. As a Healthy School, we are happy to do our bit to ensure this.
