About Tabor College Werenfridus
Werenfridus is a school for the socially engaged, independent and motivated pupil. We are a school for havo, atheneum and gymnasium full of challenges: Dutch-speaking and bilingual. Our passionate teachers and our special building encourage pupils to receive an education in a safe environment. At our school, it is not about being the very best, but pupils can become the best version of themselves here.
Werenfridus is a safe village that lets the world in in innovative ways. Not only the building exudes this, but also the organisation, the staff and the pupils. A wonderful opportunity to offer our education at a high level and to be distinctive.
These times emphasise even more than usual that students need customisation. What works fine for one person may not be at all convenient for another. Good teaching has three key elements. Competence, where we observe development for each pupil and use differentiation for optimal results. Autonomy, the flexibility and space there should be to learn in your own way. And finally relationship, because we see pupils at school and like to meet them in person.
Especially if students want to know more about the world around them, they are right at home here. World affairs such as culture, (world) citizenship, business opportunities, travel and the international programme make our school unique. We bring the world into the school and our students into the world. Here, students become socially engaged, curious and independent: the basis for a successful future.
