The Education Desk is the central point for anyone considering working in education. You can come here for orientation, guidance, job shadowing opportunities, information on courses and contact with an intake broker.
I want to become a teacher, where do I start?
You can get personal advice through the Education Desk. Our intake broker will help you find out which route (course or pathway) suits your previous education, experience and interests.
Can I join a school?
Yes, you can! Through the Education Desk, you can sign up for a taster day at a school near you or within your area of interest.
What does an entry-level broker do?
The intake broker will answer your questions about the transition to education and help you on your way with follow-up steps such as orientation interviews, taster days or choosing a course.
Lifelong development
What does Lifelong Development entail?
This programme line encourages education professionals to engage in continuous development, e.g. through training courses, study days, intervision and learning networks.
Who is the offer for?
For all education staff within secondary education and mbo: teachers, support staff, school leaders and lateral entrants.
How can I participate in a training course or activity?
The offer can be found through the regional Learning Management System (LMS). Ask your school or board for access or contact the team.
Can I organise or request training myself?
Yes, initiatives from the field are welcome. Contact the Lifelong Development team to submit your idea.
