We are looking for a Design and Technology teacher for 12 teaching hours (0.4800 FTE).
Do you or are you about to obtain a teaching qualification and/or have you earned your credentials in the Technical Education sector and would you like to start working as a teacher at the vocational secondary school? Then Martinus College is your new workplace!
Collaboration is in the DNA of a Martinus employee. Everyone belongs and adds value.

Good to know is that you will be replacing a colleague for a period of about five months. Naturally, we are happy to discuss various options with you for combining jobs, next steps within the Martinuscollege, etc.

Job requirements

We are looking for a Design and Technology teacher who:
  • More does than just teaching and passing on your enthusiasm for the subject and the Engineering profile to our pupils. Why is Engineering a wonderful subject? What can you do with it – even if you ultimately choose a different profile or subject?
  • The link between the lesson and practice motivates and stimulates pupils, and brings the subject to life in an active way. You know that pupils learn by doing, and that things are built and tested during the lesson. You provide an overview and (technical) insight.
  • You pay close attention to what the pupils need and differentiate in your lessons and the way you address pupils so that everyone can take part. Pupils gain confidence in what they do through your approach. Just running through a lesson – we are not really into that.
  • You create a safe atmosphere in the classroom where all pupils can be themselves and dare to ask questions, and you maintain contact with mentors to extend that safe learning environment beyond the place where you work.

Employment conditions

We offer:
At the Martinus College, you have the opportunity to make a real difference in a school where diversity, collaboration, and personal development are central. Here, there is space for you to be yourself, utilise your qualities and talents, and invest in the growth of both students and colleagues.

If you recognise yourself in this vacancy, we warmly invite you to apply.
Naturally, we follow the CAO VO for the terms of employment. This position is scaled in LB.
