Als docent bij het Zuiderzee College weet je het onderwijsproces zo te begeleiden dat leerlingen gestimuleerd worden om zelf actief mee te doen. Niet alleen ín de les, maar ook daarbuiten, bijvoorbeeld bij schoolactiviteiten. In goed Nederlands: jij slaagt erin om leerlingen zowel binnen als buiten het lokaal in beweging te krijgen. 
 
You don't stand still yourself. Educational renewal has your attention and you are keen to actively contribute to it. Within your department, you will contribute to the development of education, learning resources, teaching materials and assessments, as well as fostering a recognisable pedagogical climate. You enthusiastically share your passion for the subject both inside and outside of school.

Job requirements

You possess a second-degree teaching qualification. Additionally, you have experience and/or an affinity with VMBO pupils. You know how to connect with pupils through varied and innovative lessons. Like us, you are open to people from different cultural and social backgrounds and are capable of interacting well with parents and pupils. Finally, you endorse our vision.

The staff at Zuiderzee College are characterised by a high level of commitment to the students. Working from a positive pedagogical environment is the starting point, where we teach desired behaviour in a safe environment by learning from and with each other. Because students are different, learn differently and because there are differences within each subject in terms of knowledge to be acquired and skills to be learned, teachers differentiate as much as possible. Through the use of laptops and the development of blended learning, students are offered tailor-made education that matches their educational needs and interests as much as possible.
