SBO Kompasschool is a small school within the De Skool building in Den Burg. Our pupils are very diverse, but they all have in common that they experience difficulties in learning and/or their social-emotional functioning. By offering a safe, structured and predictable pedagogical and didactic environment, more room is created for pupils to develop.

Who are we looking for?
• You teach a group of pupils within SEN (Special Educational Needs) primary education, working closely with colleagues
and contributes to a safe, predictable climate.
• You have an affinity with and teach children with special educational needs.
• You regularly maintain constructive contact with parents.
•You stand your ground and are able to put things into perspective when necessary.
• You provide a safe pedagogical climate.
• You hold a teaching qualification (PABO degree).Employment conditions

• Groups of approximately 12-15 pupils, where the smallest steps can yield the biggest successes.
• A pleasant, professional team that supports and helps each other develop, often with a healthy dose of humour.
• A salary in accordance with the Primary Education Collective Labour Agreement (CAO-PO), scale LC, within a small foundation where the care for our pupils always comes first and where communication lines are short.
