Team O&K is looking for three Sector Advisers for Curriculum Development and Innovation with a passion for vocational education (mbo), who are keen to get their teeth into challenging issues facing the education sector and Talland College.
The function
As Sector Advisor for Education Development and Innovation within the O&K team, you have a versatile and interesting role at Talland. You advise managers and directors on education development and innovation. As a subject matter expert, you are able to engage people, support the teaching teams, provide ‘on the job’ training where necessary and desired, and you are a critical discussion partner. You support the teaching teams and managers with education development and innovations concerning a wide range of topics such as LOB (Lifelong Career Guidance), Citizenship, generic subjects, Elective Modules, BSA (Binding Study Advice), digitalisation and curriculum flexibility. You are familiar with the legal frameworks and keep abreast of the latest developments.
In short: a broad and challenging role, currently in full development.
About the team
Within the O&K (Education & Knowledge) team, a distinction has been made between educational innovation and education management. Educational innovation encompasses student support, curriculum development, and flexibility. Education management primarily focuses on quality assurance and examination processes. Within the team, we have the roles of policy advisors and sector advisors. Policy advisors work centrally on policy development. Sector advisors work closely with the educational teams and managers, and are therefore often based at the educational locations.
