Vonk location Schagen has a vacancy (temporary sickness cover) as of 1 September 2026 for:
Support Coordinator
0.6 – 0.8 FTE (at least until the Christmas holidays)
What will you do?
As a support coordinator at Vonk Schagen, you play a central role in supporting our VMBO pupils. Together with teachers, mentors, team leaders, parents/guardians, and external partners, you ensure that pupils receive appropriate support.
You are the pivot around student support and coordinate the support within the branch. In doing so, you actively collaborate with other Vonk branches and regional partners.
You manage the support team, ensure effective coordination and assist employees with complex support queries. You organise and chair multidisciplinary meetings (MDMs) and monitor the agreements made and progress.
In addition, you are part of the SAT (School Attendance Team). From this team, together with colleagues, you focus on school attendance, the prevention of truancy, and timely support for pupils.
You advise team leaders, mentors and teachers, and maintain contacts with, among others, the partnership, attendance officers, youth and family teams, and other support agencies. In complex cases, you ensure coherence between the parties involved.
You contribute to the development, implementation and improvement of Vonk Schagen's support policy. You identify developments, translate these into practice and advise on appropriate support and guidance.
As a support coordinator, you will make decisions regarding the organisation and coordination of student support within your area of responsibility. You will report to the branch director of Vonk Schagen.
