We are looking for a Dutch teacher for 20 lessons (0.8 FTE).
Are you currently obtaining or will you soon obtain your first-degree qualification for your favourite subject – Dutch – and would you like to start work as a teacher for upper havo/vwo from the new school year? Then the Martinuscollege is your new workplace!
Job requirements
We are looking for a Dutch teacher who:
- Meer does more than just teach, it establishes a connection between the curriculum and developments in society. Why is a good command of the Dutch language important? The link between lessons and practice motivates and stimulates students, making the subject come alive and active. Through the methods we use, you encourage students to truly use the Dutch language.
- You look closely at what the pupils need and differentiate your lessons and the way you address them so that everyone can participate. ‘Just going through the motions’ - that's not really our style.
- You create a safe atmosphere in the classroom, where all pupils can be themselves and dare to ask questions.
- And they're teenagers, so it's important to have discussions and conversations, as well as to give them space for their opinions, doubts, and misunderstandings.
