Job requirements
We are looking for a scheduler who:
- Loves puzzles and planning. You are a natural organiser and have previous experience as a roster maker or planner.
- Creating realistic and practical timetables. This includes annual timetables, exam timetables, etc.
- Gathers and checks data to create a good timetable and is creative in matching employees, students/classes, rooms, and lessons.
- Conscious that various interests are at play and taking them into account, but always thinking from the perspective of the pupil's best interests.
- You can keep up with various systems. It's definitely a plus if you have previously worked with Zermelo or a similar (education) timetable programme, so that you can help us make more efficient and effective use of the systems.
- Is good at collaborating, involves the right people in the process at the right time and thinks about alternative solutions.
- Flexibility is what enables you to quickly switch between different tasks, respond to emergencies, and continue working effectively under time pressure.
