What does the job entail
Science staat voor de brede bètawetenschappelijke kennismaking in de eerste twee leerjaren van de school. Mocht je tweedegraads bevoegd zijn, is het van belang dat je ook bereid en bekwaam bent om scheikunde in de onderbouw te verzorgen. Dan kunnen we namelijk wat schuiven. Je bent in ieder geval een betrokken en enthousiaste docent die op inspirerende wijze bijdraagt aan de ontwikkeling van onze leerlingen en de uitstekende resultaten van de school. Daarnaast beschik je over een open houding en voer je samen met je collega’s vernieuwing in het onderwijs door.
About the school
In the heart of Zaandam is the oldest secondary school in the Zaan region: the Zaanlands Lyceum.
De school biedt onderdak aan ongeveer 1150 leerlingen en 125 personeelsleden. Het Zaanlands Lyceum is een openbare school voor havo, atheneum en gymnasium. De school staat open voor elke leerling, ongeacht zijn levens-beschouwing of herkomst. De leerlingen hebben respect voor elkaars achtergrond en overtuiging. Het onderwijs is erop gericht de talenten van onze leerlingen en medewerkers maximaal te ontplooien in een inspirerende en sfeervolle omgeving. Het ruime en lichte schoolgebouw staat op een zeer royaal terrein met bomen, planten en grasvelden en beschikt over een complete buitensportaccommodatie. De sectie natuurkunde beschikt over TOA-ondersteuning gedurende de gehele week en goed geoutilleerde practicumlokalen.

What we ask• Een collega die vakinhoudelijk goed is en pedagogisch-didactisch uitermate bekwaam.
• Een collega die betrokkenheid toont bij de school en de leerlingen.
• Een collega die wil werken en ontwikkelen vanuit ruimte en vertrouwen.
• Bij voorkeur een eerstegraads lesbevoegdheid (of studerend daarvoor). Een tweedegraads bevoegdheid kan ook passend zijn in combinatie met scheikunde.
Employment conditions
What we offerEen veelzijdige baan in een uitdagende en informele werkomgeving, waar leerlingen en medewerkers een persoonlijke ontwikkeling door kunnen maken die past bij hun aanleg, competenties en ambitie. De functie wordt gewaardeerd conform de CAO VO afhankelijk van ervaring in schaal LB/LC/LD (min. €3622 max. €7313 bij een fulltime dienstverband).
