Job requirements
We are looking for a History teacher who:
✔ History does more than just teach and establish connections between the curriculum and developments in society and the community – the here and now. Why is it important to know what happened in the past? And how do we link that to recent events? The connection between the lesson and practice motivates and stimulates pupils and makes the subject come alive and active.
You pay close attention to what the students need and differentiate in your lessons and the way you address students so that everyone can participate. We're not really into ‘churning out’ lessons.
You create a safe atmosphere in the classroom, where all pupils can be themselves and dare to ask questions.
✔ Well, they are teenagers, so having discussions and conversations is important, as is giving them space for their opinions, doubts, and misunderstandings.Employment conditions
