What will you do?
As a teacher, you will passionately transfer your professional knowledge to secondary school students aged 12 to 16. You make the teaching material lively and relevant, and know how to captivate pupils with creative work forms. You are not only a teacher, but also a mentor who actively
focuses on the personal development of your pupils. Whether it involves guidance, parent contact or creating a safe learning environment: you ensure that every pupil gets the most out of themselves!

What we expect from you:
• a second-grade teaching qualification for Social Studies (or you are studying for one);
- strong pedagogical and teaching skills;
- Creative and enthusiastic in developing the curriculum;
- Proficient in using ICT tools and social media in the classroom;
- good command of the Dutch language both verbally and in writing.

Your salary will be scaled according to scale LB of the CAO mbo, with a gross monthly salary between €3,713 and €5,495 for full-time employment, depending on your experience.
Working at the Heerhugowaard branch
At Vonk Heerhugowaard, you know the 300 pupils, and they know you and your more than 50 colleagues. Our small school excels in personal attention and fostering a close-knit, supportive community.
In addition to regular VMBO, we offer Vrij Groen in the lower years. This educational concept, inspired by Steiner/Waldorf education, emphasises creativity, self-development, learning and inspiration. Here, students are given the space to discover their talents and develop broadly.
