For our Infra department, we are looking for an enthusiastic teacher. We prefer an experienced teacher. However, if you have extensive experience in the field but (as yet) no teaching qualification, we would also be delighted to hear from you. We would be happy to explore the possibilities for a career change pathway together.
The function
As an Infrastructure Lecturer, you fulfil a versatile and dynamic role within our team. You will be involved with, among other things:
- providing inspiring and practical education;
- Guiding and coaching students in their learning process;
- fulfilling a mentoring role for a group of students;
- contributing to the development and innovation of the educational programme;
- working with colleagues and external partners, including SPG.
The Infra team consists of approximately 10 enthusiastic and driven colleagues. The training courses offered by the Infra team are vocational training courses delivered via the BBL (work-based learning) route. This means that students attend school one day a week. Some of the teaching team have backgrounds in the business world. This, among other things, ensures a strong connection with professional practice within the training programmes. To compensate for upcoming retirements within the team, we are looking for candidates who will guarantee the continuity of the training programmes. Job requirements
Your profileYou have a passion for the infrastructure sector and can create a safe learning environment. You can interact well with our students and coach them to develop into the professionals the industry is crying out for.
We are looking for a colleague who:
- available for 1.0 FTE, options for less are negotiable;
- preferably has experience in education or the workplace;
- a true connector and actively seeks collaboration, particularly with SPG;
- Possesses strong communication skills and is able to inspire and persuade others;
- is proactive and likes to take the initiative;
- is in any case available on Tuesday (other working days to be discussed).
