Teacher of Mathematics (second-degree qualification) (0.6-0.8 fte)

We are looking for an enthusiastic, full-time equivalent (FTE) maths teacher, with a second-grade teaching qualification, starting from 1 August 2026, for 0.6-0.8 FTE. You will be deployable in the lower years of MAVO, HAVO and VWO, and the upper years of MAVO. You will be a member of both a subject department and a year group team. Depending on your experience, you may be asked to mentor a class.

Job requirements

You feel strongly committed to the target audience and possess relevant teaching qualifications. You apply activating teaching methods and differentiation within lessons. You also have an affinity for ICT and digital teaching materials. You enjoy working collaboratively and continuously develop your skills, in consultation with your department head, subject team, and coach.
 

Employment conditions

A temporary employment contract with a view to a permanent position. The salary is in accordance with the Collective Labour Agreement for Secondary Education.
 
In addition to salary, the Collective Labour Agreement for Secondary Education (CAO VO) includes the following secondary employment conditions:
– holiday pay 8%;
– year-end bonus 8.3%;
– individual choice budget of 90 hours (on a full-time basis);
– ABP Pension;
– inability to work insurance (50% paid by the employer).
