What will you do?
As a Natural Sciences and Chemistry teacher, you teach junior secondary school students at vmbo/mavo and havo/vwo levels. You lay a firm foundation in natural sciences and chemistry, making the subject matter clear, practical, and interesting.

- paying attention to experiments, theory and practical applications
- stimulating curiosity and inquiry-based learning
- Differentiation and responding to varying levels in the classroom
- Guiding pupils in their learning process and study skills
- working with colleagues within the section and team
- To contribute to the further development of education
Who are you?

Additionally:
- Do you have a second-grade teaching qualification in NaSk, or will you be completing it soon?
- Do you have an affinity for both VMBO/Mavo and HAVO/VWO?
- Are you strong at teaching and good at responding to differences between pupils?
- Are you clear, engaged, and positive in your communication?
- Do you like working in a small, close-knit team

OSG De Hogeberg is a public comprehensive school of secondary education, offering a broad range of education for vmbo (basic & framework), mavo, havo and vwo. The school is the only school for secondary education on the island of Texel. Our school has a public character, which means that we want to be accessible to as many pupils on the island as possible and to participate transparently and actively in Texel society.
