Are you a teacher of vehicle technology or a technical specialist in vehicle technology with a passion for education? Do you find it a challenge to inspire and motivate our students to develop into true professionals? Do you enjoy teaching them the latest developments in your field? Are you available during the day and one evening per week in consultation? Then we are looking for you!
The function
As a mobility engineering lecturer, you will deliver both theory and practical lessons to students on the courses for Technical Specialist, First-Class Technician and Basic Technician. In addition, you will teach electrical practicals and elective modules. You will guide students in their academic progress and help them develop a professional attitude within the school environment.
About the team
The mobility engineering team consists of approximately 35 enthusiastic and driven colleagues, a great mix of young talent and experienced professionals. Our ambition is to offer students challenging and high-quality courses that respond to current and future developments in the field. To this end, the team is also developing and innovating the curriculum. We offer both full-time vocational (BOL) and work-study (BBL) courses at levels 2, 3, and 4.
Job requirements
Your profile
You hold a relevant teaching qualification, PDG, teaching degree or technical specialist diploma and are willing to obtain a teaching qualification;
You have an affinity with the target audience and preferably experience in teaching MBO students.;
You have strong communication skills and can work well with colleagues.;
You are flexible, creative, and able to respond well to the diverse learning needs of students.;
You are aware of the developments in the field and can convey this knowledge to the students.;
As a team player, you have an eye for what professional practice demands of our students and make a positive contribution to the further development of our education.;
You maintain the good contacts we have with businesses and contribute to a strong link between school and practice.
And of course, we appreciate a touch of humour and a relaxed atmosphere within our team!

Initially, this is a temporary appointment for a period of one year, with the possibility of a permanent position thereafter.

For qualified teachers, we offer salary scale LB (€3,713 to a maximum of €5,495 gross for a full-time appointment) or LC (€4,226 to a maximum of €6,210 gross for a full-time appointment).
Placement is based on knowledge, skills, and education.;
