Meet your new workplace!

Welcome to John Bosco – where opportunities begin

Johannes Bosco is a warm and ambitious vmbo school in Heerhugowaard. We believe in customisation, small classes and education that really suits our pupils. With a flexible timetable as the backbone, we create room for goal-oriented work and formative approaches.

At our institution, relationships are central: we want to see, know, and guide students in a way that suits them. Whether you're a beginner, a career changer, or coming from primary or secondary special education – at JB, you'll get the space to grow and make a difference.

Job requirements

What will you do?

As an ICT Service Desk employee, you are the first point of contact for colleagues and students with ICT questions and faults. You work in the school building. Whether it's a laptop that won't start, an application that's glitching, or an interactive whiteboard that's not working: you'll make sure it's resolved.

You install and manage hardware and software, support users and contribute ideas on how our IT environment can be improved. In doing so, you will collaborate with colleagues within the Education Facilities, Information Management teams and external parties.
You easily switch between small questions and larger issues, and maintain an overview of the daily flow of notifications.
So you're not just solving, but also helping to prevent problems.

You got it!

You are someone who stays calm when things aren't working. You think in terms of solutions, act quickly, and know how to explain technical matters in an understandable way. You are service-oriented, but also critical enough to see where things could be done more smartly.

You recognise yourself in this.
  • You have an MBO qualification in ICT or comparable experience;
  • You have knowledge of systems, applications and management processes.;
  • You are skilled in software installation and troubleshooting.;
  • You communicate easily with different target audiences (colleagues and pupils);
  • You are stress-resistant, flexible and take initiative.

And perhaps most importantly: you enjoy helping others.

Employment conditions

What we offer you!
  • A 0.8 FTE appointment until 31-07-2027 with a view to a permanent position, preferably spread over 5 working days;
  • Salary €2,672 – €3,610 based on 40 hours (scale 6 in accordance with collective labour agreement for secondary education);

We are a contemporary and learning organisation that is constantly evolving. Our school is therefore the place for driven employees who want to develop their talents and realise their ambitions to take their profession to the highest possible level.

As an employee, you are seen and appreciated for the contribution you make every day to the development of our students. The teachers and staff at Trinitas College have a good relationship with the pupils and each other. We are involved, dare to be vulnerable and give each other feedback. This is how we learn from each other, continue to grow in our profession and keep the quality of education high. Trinitas College is a reliable and pleasant employer, where employees like to work and develop.

Trinitas College, with Han Fortmann (havo, vwo) and Johannes Bosco (vmbo) together form one school. Close contact exists between the two locations. From one vision, one mission and based on common core values from our Catholic tradition, Johannes Bosco and Han Fortmann give substance and form to education that suits their pupils as if they were one school.

Our ambitions guide what Trinitas College wants to work on in the coming years. We work on customisation, we have a positive school climate, we are at the centre of society and we cooperate according to the characteristics of a professional culture. Our ambitions give direction to educational development at Han Fortmann and Johannes Bosco, each with their own target group.
