What will you do?
You provide inspiring French lessons to a mixed class of HAVO 4/5 and VWO 6. You know how to convey your enthusiasm for the French language and tailor your teaching to what students need to succeed.
You:
- teaches in small groups with room for personal attention
- guides students towards their exam results
- adapts flexibly to level differences (tailor-made)
- contributes to examination and educational development
- thinks about coaching and supporting students
- You create a safe learning environment where students gain confidence in their own abilities – often for the first time in a long time.
Job requirements
Who are you?You are a teacher who looks beyond grades and results. You see the person behind the student and know how important your role is in that.
You:
- has a first or second-grade teaching qualification in French
- has strong pedagogical skills and knows how to motivate students
- has affinity with VAVO students (experience is a pré)
- can differentiate well within combined groups
- be creative in your lessons and make clever use of ICT
- Flexible, with strong communication skills and goal-oriented.
