As of the new school year, we are looking for an enthusiastic 1st or 2nd-degree Dutch teacher for 0.625 FTE. 

Over six years ago, an enthusiastic group of teachers started a whole new way of teaching: the Supreme College. The group of teachers consists mainly of a dynamic mix of teachers from Bonhoeffer College and Jac. P. Thijsse College.

What is unique about Supreme is the combination of the Middle Years Programme and the vwo. It turns out that Supreme has quite an appeal: on the one hand to Dutch students who want to learn differently and on the other to international students. Add to this the fact that lessons are taught in half-day sessions, so a lesson lasts two and a half clock hours, and you have an innovative and ambitious school.

Job requirements

You have a first or second-grade teaching qualification in Dutch and are an enthusiastic colleague looking for a new challenge!

 

Employment conditions

This is a temporary employment contract with a view to a permanent contract, subject to satisfactory performance and sufficient staffing levels. 
You can also count on excellent terms of employment, including:
  • A salary dependent on education and experience in accordance with CAO VO;
  • A holiday allowance of 8% and a year-end bonus of 8.33%;
  • An October allowance of €302.50. Once you are in the final step of your scale, the October allowance is €1,640.00;
  • You are free in all school holidays;
  • You are entitled to an annual individual choice budget of 90 hours on a full-time basis;
  • You build up your pension with ABP. SVOK pays 70% of the pension premium;
  • Opportunity to participate in collective disability insurance. SVOK pays 50% of the premium;
  • SVOK offers a wide range of training opportunities through the SVOK academy.

At our school, we do not work with timetables, work with a maximum of two subjects per day and do not have traditional classrooms. In the school year 2023-2024, Supreme College also started a bridge MYP class.
