SG De Triade is the region's leading technical education provider. We provide education at mavo, vmbo (basic, framework and mixed) and lower havo level, with strong technical profiles such as Building, Housing & Interiors, Producing, Installing & Energy and Media, Design & ICT. Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an educationally strong team leader with a clear vision of good technical education. Someone who takes the lead, has a visible presence in the school and not only facilitates but drives educational development.
As team leader of De Triade, together with the other team leaders and the director, you give direction to the educational course of the school. You are part of a compact and decisive management team consisting of the director and two team leaders. Together you manage about 80 employees and are responsible for the quality and future-proofing of education.
At The Triad, we work on the basis of shared leadership. There are no fixed ‘own’ teams; the school leadership feels jointly responsible for the whole. From a joint analysis of what the school needs, tasks are divided. This requires for leadership that thinks beyond, shows ownership and is prepared to take the initiative - also outside its own portfolio.
Your role
As team leader, you are a visible and recognisable leader on the shop floor. You actively seek dialogue with teachers and support staff, ask sharp questions and are clear in your expectations. You are a pioneer in educational development: you connect vision to practice, stimulate professional growth and know how to inspire staff and take them along with you in changes.
You have a solid educational foundation and know what is needed to improve education sustainably. You combine pedagogical-didactical insight with organisational strength and know how to stay on course, even when the context is complex. Feedback giving and receiving feedback comes naturally to you; you work on the basis of openness, reflection and trust.
The Triad is deliberately organised with little hierarchy. This means that leadership is visible and accessible, but also that great demands are made on your firmness, decisiveness and exemplary behaviour.
Future-oriented building
The Triad is in a demographic decline region. This calls for focus, innovation and strong positioning. We are currently doing well, but standing still is not an option. A key pillar of our success is close cooperation with the regional business community and other educational institutions.
We are therefore looking for a team leader who looks outwards, wants to actively build partnerships in the region and work with the team to create a future-proof and distinctive school. Someone who sees opportunities, takes initiative and helps De Triade to further grow in quality and image.

- Remuneration in accordance with the Collective Labour Agreement for Secondary Education, scale 12 (maximum € 7,313 gross for full-time employment), depending on experience and grading.

Scholengemeenschap De Triade is the technical training provider in the Waterland region. We believe we can turn our 620 pupils into the best (professional) men and women of the future. We do this by simply offering good technical education at vmbo level and lower secondary school. And we are proud of that.
Within The Triad, we work from four focal points: healthy, sensible, safe & convenient. In doing so, we help our pupils live a healthy lifestyle, for example, by paying attention to nutrition, social behaviour, sports & exercise, alcohol and drug use, smoking and sexuality within and outside our lessons.
Together with our students, we build the future. We teach them useful vocational skills but also guide them to become active and responsible citizens. Respect for each other and for yourself plays an important role in this. In addition to engineering classes, we also offer lessons in ‘happiness science’, so that pupils treat their trade wisely as well as their environment and themselves.
We have one important rule and that is: ‘we act normal’. This applies in the school in all areas, both inside and outside the classroom towards each other, the materials and the environment.
The Triad is a small-scale and safe school. Pupils are not only seen, they feel truly seen. This also applies to the parents of our pupils. Communication with parents and pupils is a key focus of the school. We do it together!
Within our three technical profiles BWI, MVI and PIE, pupils can develop to their full potential as a professional. We use modern means and do not lose sight of craftsmanship.
We work closely with the surrounding area, both with primary education, secondary vocational education and the municipality. We also have good contacts with companies in the region. We consider this enormously important and it is something we keep working on continuously. Our employees are visible in the surrounding area and feel connected to it.
