approx. 0.8 FTE (20 lessons) until mid-January 2027 and
Approx. 0.3 FTE (7 to 8 teaching hours) from mid-January 2027 up to and including 31 July 2027.
This is a temporary appointment due to replacement.
Job requirements
We are looking for a candidate:
- with a first-degree qualification in Economics;
or an experienced second-degree teacher (with experience in year 4 of HAVO/VWO and studying for a first-degree qualification)

WHO ARE WE?
Christelijke Scholen Gemeenschap Jan Arentsz (JA) is a comprehensive comprehensive school with locations in Alkmaar and Langedijk. There we offer the following types of education:
In Alkmaar vmbo-basis/kader (lower secondary) vmbo-basis/kader (upper secondary), at the location of and in cooperation with Van der Meij College (VMC). The JA is responsible for the Care and Welfare sector. You can read more about this in the school plan of the VMC. vmbo kader/tl and tl/havo havo (technasium), atheneum (technasium) and gymnasium.
In Langedijk vmbo gl/tl havo and atheneum (lower secondary school). After the third year, these pupils can complete their education in Alkmaar.
Vmbo-basis/framework pupils have a two-year bridging period, all other pupils a one-year period. At the end of their bridging period, all pupils receive a final recommendation on the type of education with which they will continue their education at the YES.
