Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a educational caretaker, TOA and ICT support officer - a versatile and committed colleague who is literally and figuratively at the centre of the school.
In this position, you are the spider in the web. Together with your colleague, you take care of our pupils, our staff and our building. You are visible and approachable. You know the pupils, know what is going on and feel what is needed. You see who is late - and why. You offer a listening ear where necessary and address pupils with natural authority when necessary.
You are flexible, practical and love working with young people. You think about the design and use of our building and actively contribute to a safe, pleasant and well-organised learning environment.

Job requirements
It is important that you enjoy taking on small practical jobs and that you are handy. You like to roll up your sleeves and see what needs to be done.We are also looking for someone who enjoys helping out as a technical teaching assistant (TOA) where necessary and who is skilled in ICT support. You have a practical attitude, think in solutions and enjoy helping colleagues and students quickly and effectively. quickly and effectively.
Affinity with our target group - pupils aged 12 to 18 - is a requirement for this position. You understand what this age phase requires and know how to connect with young people naturally.

About Kairos Teen College
About Kairos College
The Kairos College (until 1 August still Kairos Teenage College) is a relatively young school for secondary Waldorf education in Amsterdam North. From school year 2026-2027, Kairos College will continue as an independent school under its own management.
In school year 2026-2027, we provide education to 280 pupils in grades 1 to 4 in heterogeneous classes up to the third year. In the same school year, the first mavo final exams take place. In subsequent years, we will grow into a fully-fledged comprehensive secondary school with examination routes for mavo, havo and vwo.
Development and pioneering phase
In the coming years, Kairos College will still be in a pioneering phase. This means that we are building together to further develop the school, the curriculum and the organisation. This phase calls for committed, experienced and initiating professionals who want to participate in the further growth and shaping of our school.
