Management assistant to the chairman of the Executive Board

Atlas College is looking for a versatile and proactive Management Assistant! 
 
Are you an incisive and enthusiastic professional who likes variety as well as making a real difference? We are looking for an experienced management assistant to support and relieve the chairman of the Executive Board at a high quality level. In this role, you will be an indispensable link within the organisation and ensure that daily business runs smoothly. 
 
About Atlas College 
Atlas College provides public education to five secondary schools in the West Friesland and Waterland regions. The Executive Board is the competent authority of Atlas College, and is supported by the service centre. You will work at the service centre in Hoorn, where students, colleagues, schools and the board are optimally supported from various areas of expertise such as finance, communication, human resources, ICT and quality assurance.  
 
What will you do? 
In this dynamic and varied position, you will combine complicated agenda management with preparing and coordinating communication and information flows. Your main task is to unburden the director: you ensure that she can do her job in the best possible way. optimal performance of her work. You monitor the many deadlines and information flows in consultation with the secretary of college. Using AI, you make work more efficient and take minutes of meetings. For your own work, you set priorities and switch smoothly between different tasks. You act as the point of contact for both internal and external contacts and have a proactive attitude.  
 
You identify opportunities and risks, support the secretary and chairman of the Executive Board in its decision-making process and ensure that the right information is available at the right time. In addition, you take care of the facilities around meetings and events, managing functional mailboxes and the archive. 
 
In short: you are the driver's support and advocate! 
 
What do you bring? 
  • Service orientation: You ensure that everything runs smoothly in a dynamic working environment. You enjoy working together.  
  • Communicative and representative in word and writing: You are the entry point to the director and have the ability to communicate clearly, pleasantly and convincingly with internal and external stakeholders.  
  • Accuracy and integrity: You hold confidential information in confidence, monitor deadlines and make sure everything is done to perfection. 
  • Flexibility and proactivity: You anticipate needs, are sociable and act independently. No challenge is too big for you. You are stress-resistant.  
  • Experience with MS Office and other tools, such as AI: You manage the chairman's complicated agenda (including annual planning), organise and manage the mailbox, and ensure the preparation, reporting and necessary facilities of consultations.  
  • Relevant education and work experience: You have at least a mbo 4 level and extensive experience as a management assistant at board or management level.
