Our Digital Services Team has an immediate vacancy for:
Functional manager business applications (0.8 - 1.0 FTE)
What will you do?
As a functional manager of business applications, you will ensure that our education and business applications are optimally aligned with Vonk's processes. You are the pivot between education, support, IT and suppliers and ensure that applications are reliable, user-friendly and well-designed.
Your responsibilities include:
- Functionally manage a broad application landscape within the education domain (including education logistics, scheduling, communication and support systems);
- User management, authorisations and setting up and maintaining applications and links between systems;
- Resolving functional disruptions and assessing whether reports are passed on to suppliers;
- Coordinating with suppliers on changes, failures, further development and releases;
- Supporting and advising users, answering questions and providing training;
- Establish and maintain knowledge, instructions and practices;
- Active participation in projects, user consultations and (national) working groups, especially in the field of educational logistics and timetabling;
- Thinking along on process improvement, harmonisation and further development of the application landscape;
- In this role, you will combine day-to-day operational work with a broader view on processes, collaboration and future-proofing.
Job requirements
We are looking for a positive-minded colleague with an appetite to tackle! Your colleagues will be happy to take you along to help you master the knowledge. You have:- A completed MBO 4 course in IT;
- And/or at least several years of functional management experience;
- Preferably experience with SharePoint, Office365, Eduarte, Xedule or TOPdesk;
- Good command of the Dutch and English languages;
- Good communication skills;
- Good resolution skills;
- And you are proactive, accurate, creative and flexible.
