For the Schagen branch, we are immediately looking for a:
Mathematics teacher (0.5 - 1.0 FTE)
This is a temporary position, with a minimum of 0.5 fte consisting of mathematics/math in junior grades (years 1 to 3).
Are you additionally employable in the superstructure? Then that is definitely a plus.
We are preferably looking for someone who can be deployed immediately and flexibly.
What will you do?
As a maths teacher, you mainly teach maths/maths in junior secondary schools (years 1 to 3). You make the teaching material lively and relevant, and know how to captivate pupils with creative teaching methods.
Are you more versatile than just mathematics? If so, we would like to discuss with you the possibility - within the expansion to 1.0 FTE - of teaching other subjects as well.
You are not only a subject teacher, but also a motivator and listening ear who actively focuses on pupils' personal development. Whether it is guidance, parent contact or creating a safe learning environment: you ensure that every student gets the most out of themselves.
Job requirements
You are a teacher that students will remember fondly later on, not only because of your expertise, but especially because of your enthusiasm and commitment.We also expressly invite candidates with a paediatric diploma to apply for this temporary position.
What else we expect from you:
- a second-degree teaching qualification in mathematics (or you are studying for this) or a pabo diploma;
- preferably experience in undergrad;
- Employability in upper management is a plus;
- flexibility and willingness to assist where necessary;
- strong pedagogical and teaching skills;
- creativity and enthusiasm in developing education;
- skill in deploying ICT resources;
- good command of the Dutch language both verbally and in writing.
