Our website aims to offer information to (prospective) students and employees and educational institutions operating in the region. The site does not intend to collect data on website visitors who are under 16 years of age, unless they have parental or guardian consent. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is over 16. We therefore advise parents to be involved in their children's online activities, in order to avoid collecting data on children without parental consent. If you believe that we have collected personal data about a minor without such consent, please contact us at info@onderwijsregiohollandsnoorden.nl, then we will delete this information.

Onderwijsregio Hollands Noorden uses functional and analytical cookies. The Education Region uses cookies with a purely technical functionality. These ensure that the website works properly, for example, they can remember your preference settings and they help us make the website work properly. They also allow us to optimise our website. We anonymise this data before processing it.

Education Region Hollands Noorden has taken the following measures to protect your personal data:

  • Security software, such as a virus scanner and firewall.
  • TLS (formerly SSL). We send data via a secure internet connection. This can be seen by the address bar ‘https’ and the padlock in the address bar.
  • DKIM, SPF and DMARC are three internet standards we use to prevent people from receiving e-mails on our behalf that contain viruses, are spam or are intended to obtain personal (login) data.
