Teacher- and team-oriented
  • Treatment-oriented advice for teachers
  • Assist in drawing up and implementing plans
  • Providing workshops (e.g. group dynamics, differentiation, dealing with specific educational needs)
  • Sparring partner for mentors and colleagues
School-wide
  • Participating in the development of support and inclusion policies
  • Participation in support team, MDOs and ZAT consultations
  • Connecting to conversations with parents and pupils
What do you bring?
  • Relevant training (e.g. remedial education, psychology, Master SEN or similar)
  • Experience in secondary education
  • Pedagogical and didactic expertise
  • Knowledge of learning and behavioural issues and appropriate education
  • Understanding support structures within the VO
  • Pedagogical tact, analytical and communication skills
You work carefully, connectively and professionally and know how to bring colleagues along in thinking and acting around appropriate education.
What do we offer?
  • A meaningful position in a young, growing Waldorf school
  • An engaged and ambitious team
  • Space to help build inclusive education
  • Salary in accordance with scale 10 CAO VO
  • Project appointment for 2 years with possible permanent prospects
Would you like to contribute to a school where every student is seen in his or her unique development? Then we would like to receive your application.

About Kairos College

The Kairos College (until 1 August still Kairos Teenage College) is a relatively young school for secondary Waldorf education in Amsterdam North. From school year 2026-2027, Kairos College will continue as an independent school under its own management.

In school year 2026-2027, we provide education to 280 pupils in grades 1 to 4 in heterogeneous classes up to the third year. In the same school year, the first mavo final exams take place. In subsequent years, we will grow into a fully-fledged comprehensive secondary school with examination routes for mavo, havo and vwo.

Development and pioneering phase

In the coming years, Kairos College will still be in a pioneering phase. This means that we are building together to further develop the school, the curriculum and the organisation.
